Above performance, we also provide you options for energy-efficient operation. Some of our furnaces operate at over 95% efficiency, with variable speed blower motors and two stage gas valves. With a two stage valve your furnace can operate on low speed for the mild winter days and high speed for the really cold winter days. This is another feature to help you save on your heating bills. Eastside Heating and Air also installs Trane heat pumps.

Dual Fuel heating is a plan whereby you can add a second heating system to your current system and gain the comfort and security of electric heat at a special low electric rate. The system comprises two fuel sources:  Electricity as a primary system (heat pump) and an alternate fuel such as gas or fuel oil as a secondary source (furnace). The system is controlled using a signal that switches the electric heat off and your backup fuel on during peak load conditions, typically on the coldest days of the winter when the temperature reaches around 45 degrees or below. As the peak passes, a second signal is sent out switching your system back to the electric mode. If for any reason you wish to heat using your secondary heat source for more than the minimum number of hours, you have this flexibility. That's one of the advantages of Dual Fuel - FREEDOM OF CHOICE!

ZONE SYSTEM
Are You Tired of Being Too Hot in Some Areas and Too Cold in Others?

An EWC Zone System will solve that problem. Zoning divides your home into separate zones.

Each zone will have it's own thermostat, allowing you to be comfortable no matter where you are in your home. Zoning also allows you to save on energy cost by not heating or cooling unoccupied areas until you need to.

With a zone system all you have to do is set the thermostats to your desired comfort level and the zone system will do the rest.
