Testimonials
"As
usual I waited until after the hot summer days
arrived to check my air conditioning for my home.
When the
temperature hit 88 degrees inside I knew I had a
problem. I called Eastside Heating and Air and told
them I needed service as soon as possible. That same
afternoon when most folks are headed home after
work, Jamie took the time to come by and repair the
AC units so my family could sleep in comfort that
night. Jamie was honest and dependable and I will
definitely be a repeat customer."

Customer focused and fairly
priced service
"Summer time
always brings the dreaded event
of needing to have your a/c
repaired. After nine years in my
house one of my units decided to
call it quits so I called five
AC companies out to give me
estimates on a repair or new
system. Jamie Munsell of
Eastside was the first available
to come out and once he found
that the unit was salvageable
his first action was to get the
house cooling again by charging
my system. He then spent the
time to explain the differences
in the new systems that I was
looking at and then he provided
me with a quote. When I have had
other small a/c issues it is
always a good feeling to know
that Eastside provides 24hr
emergency service. My a/c unites
are still limping along but when
it comes time to replace them, I
will be calling Eastside Heating
and Air. Thanks Jamie and keep
up the good work!"

Very Happy Here
Local Family owned. Showed up on
time. Looked at my system. Told
me what needed to be
corrected...Unlike 2 other
contractors..What a waste of my
time and theirs..Gave me a fair
price...Scheduled the install...
Showed up on time and completed
the work when he promised..I
will use them again and will
recommend to anyone....This is

Most honest hvac service in
Atlanta
Our air conditioning was not
blowing so I called Eastside. My
friend referred me to the
company. Jamie the owner came to
my house at 6pm realized the fan
in the furnace was "dead." He
ended up staying until almost
mid-night to finish the job. He
did a great service because I
was pregnant and hot!!!! He did
an excellent job and has earned
my business for life.... He was
very professional, honest and
not out to take advantage of me.
His rates are VERY reasonable. I
have recommended him to a number
of friends and family members.

Proven Tips for selecting a
Dealer
-
Check credentials
Before making your selection,
call the Better Business Bureau
to make sure the dealer is
reputable.
-
Make
sure the dealer is affiliated
with a nationally know
manufacturer
Dealers should be taking
advantages of factory training
offered by their manufacturer.
As a result, when they make
recommendations, you ca be more
assured that they've selected
the right size of the system for
your home, and what they have
been trained in installation and
service.
-
Ask
for reference
Former customers are an
excellent source of information.
Also, ask to see installation
photos. A dealer that is proud
of his work will be more than
happy to show it to you.
-
Expect an on-site evaluation of
your home
A good dealer will take a
thorough look at your home, ask
questions and evaluate your
overall comfort needs before
making a recommendation. Beware
of a dealer that simply takes
information over the phone. A
good dealer will also look the
parts. While he's evaluating
your home, you should be
evaluating him. Not only should
he dress professionally, but his
truck and printed materials
should look professional as
well.
-
Check local licenses
Depending on where you live,
dealers may have to comply with
certain local or state
regulations, so ask to see proof
of these licenses, as well as
insurance forms for liability
and workmen's compensations.
-
Don't
be afraid to ask questions
Ask for details about
the firm's experiences and the
expertise of its staff. This is
particularly important if you
are also adding or changing
ductwork - in this case,
experience is definitely a
factor in getting the job done
correctly.
-
Get a
written proposal
To make a fair
comparison, make sure the
proposals you receive are all
based on the same efficiency and
equipment. You will also want to
evaluate each dealer's personal
business standards and policies.
For example, will he remove old
equipment? Will he relocate
equipment if you want your new
system installed in a different
location? What are his clean up
and care policies during
installation? How will he handle
emergency repairs? These are
just a few of the additional
elements a good proposal will
include.
-
Inquire
about equipment and labor
warranties
Limited warranties
vary according to the
manufacturer, so make sure you
fully understand what you are
getting. Also don't forget to
inquire about manufacturer's
extended warranties at the time
of purchase and other warranties
provided by the dealer.
-
Ask about
preventive maintenance service
contracts
Many dealers offer
service contracts that call for
periodic maintenance of
equipment, and if needed,
repairs.
The fee for such contracts
is usually well worth in the
terms of obtaining optimum
efficiency and performance for
your system.
-
Finally, insist on a written
contract
Commit your agreement to writing
and have the dealer sign it.
